About Journal

 

"Educational Forum" (ISSN online 2450-3452) is a scientific peer-reviewed journal. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it creates a platform for combining theory and practice - the authors and recipients of the articles are representatives of both the academic community (educators, teachers, practitioners) and educational decision-makers.

"Educational Forum" provides articles on pedagogy, related fields of humanities, and interdisciplinary works free of charge on its website.

The main purpose of the journal is:

  • publishing contemporary educational discourses;
  • presenting critical analyses of educational innovations;
  • sharing the latest results of interdisciplinary research, carried out both in traditional convention (quantitative methodology) and qualitative.

The journal has been published since 1989. At first, it was published by the Polish Pedagogical Society. Since 2006 the co-publisher has been the University of Lower Silesia. "EF" currently cooperates with:

  • The International Society of Cultural-historical Activity Research ISCAR https://www.iscar.org/

The quality of published texts is taken care of by international and national scientific boards, qualified editors, and a group of reviewers. Submitted articles are subject to a peer-review procedure (double-blind). In terms of publishing ethics, we follow the guidelines of The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We also use anti-plagiarism software.

Thinking of the development of research in education, we invite persons interested in cooperation to submit texts to expand the collection of high-quality, original, and advanced interdisciplinary articles in the form of theoretical studies, research papers, or reports from practice.

The editor also accepts book reviews and reports from prominent scientific events - these texts are not subject to reviewing procedure.

We make our pages available to young scientists - doctoral students, and researchers within the Horizon 2020 Program that supports the development of European professional doctorates for teachers (thematic issue).

"Educational Forum" is on the List of Scientific Journals and Peer-Reviewed Materials From International Conferences published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (40points, 22.01.2024).

 

In 2022-2024, the journal published within the framework of the project Development of scientific journals, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science under contract No. RCN/SN/0087/2021/1.
